Lots of Cob Webs
Since the bulb ususally lasts a year or more, lots of cob webs have to be removed. It's a long climb up 90 feet to the top.

Placing the Bulb
This is the 220 volt socket that powers the bulb. This picture is from the outside deck looking into the light chamber (lot's of bugs on the glass!)

The View from On Top
Spectatular! It's worth the climb just to take in the breathtaking views from on top of the lighthouse.
